UK government must fix data retention legislation in six months, court rules

The High Court of England and Wales has said the UK government should amend two parts of UK intelligence legislation that are incompatible with EU fundamental rights by 1 November, but declined to make broader orders requested by the civil rights group that initiated the litigation.
