AT&T sued over geolocation data sharing

A group of California residents have filed a class-action lawsuit against AT&T and two data aggregators for allegedly selling real-time geolocation data without their consent – data that, in some cases, ended up in the hands of bounty hunters, landlords, and other third parties that weren’t supposed to have access to it.
