Denham: "The GDPR doesn't have to be the standard around the world"

Outgoing UK Information Commissioner Elizabeth Denham has called for an overhaul of the systems underpinning data flows, proposing a new global framework with lower data protection requirements than currently needed to achieve GDPR adequacy status.
