Experian: disproportionate ICO enforcement could force business shutdown

Counsel to Experian has stressed during closing arguments that a “grossly disproportionate” ICO enforcement measure against its marketing business would impose an “absolutist, nannying, force-feeding” approach to transparency – and refused to withdraw allegations that the ICO misled the tribunal while resisting the company’s appeal.
