Akiko Araki primarily advises Japanese and other foreign clients on intellectual property (IP) licensing and litigation matters. She has experience to support her clients in cross-border patent licensing negotiations in the United States, the European Union, and in other Asian countries, including negotiations with patent pool administrators. In addition, Akiko advises clients on data licensing and protection matters based on data privacy and other related regulations in Japan and other major jurisdictions.
