Tom is Global Data Review’s editor. He writes and edits GDR news and features from London, and oversees all of its editorial operations. Tom first joined GDR’s publisher, Law Business Research, as a reporter for Global Competition Review in mid-2013; he headed to the initial reporting team of sister publication Global Investigations Review later that year, before returning to GCR to start running its London desk in mid-2015, where he specialised in covering UK and EU antitrust litigation and appeals against enforcers’ decisions. Tom now writes about all areas of the law affecting data, but continues to be particularly interested in private litigation linked to companies’ use and monetisation of data. He has a law with French law degree from University College London and a master’s degree in journalism from City, University of London.
