Ms Yu is an associate based in the Beijing office of Haiwen. Ms Yu’s practice focuses on data and cybersecurity, and corporate law. Ms Yu joined Haiwen in 2020.
Ms Yu provides data compliance services to a series of multinational companies as well as large financial groups in China. She focuses on industries like automobile, finance, healthcare, industrial manufacturing and the internet. The services include conducting data due diligence and completing data mapping, conducting data compliance gap analysis, preparing agreements and policies related to data compliance, and conducting data-related investigation.
Ms Yu also represents a series of investment funds in their investment deals and conducts data compliance due diligence in such deals.
In 2017, Ms Yu earned a bachelor of laws degree in China University of Political Science and Law. In 2020, Ms Yu received a master of laws degree from China University of Political Science and Law. Ms Yu’s native language is Mandarin Chinese and she is fluent in English.
