Brazil consumer watchdog fines pharmacy for discount scheme

A Minas Gerais consumer defence body has fined Brazilian pharmacy chain Drogaria Araújo 7.9 million reais (€1.8 million) for requiring customers to provide their tax registration number to be eligible for discounts without informing them how the data would be used.
