South African court strikes down surveillance laws

A High Court of South Africa judge has struck down multiple aspects of South Africa’s interception regime and its use of bulk interception, but delayed most of his declarations of unconstitutionality for two years to give South Africa’s parliament a chance to fix the surveillance framework.
