Fábio Pereira is the head of Veirano’s IT and internet practice, which features nine partners and nine associates. The team serves multiple international telecoms clients. Data protection within the firm is spread across different teams, which bring relevant experience from their particular discipline and support clients in the protection, negotiation and exploitation of their telecoms and IT rights. The team draft policies and terms of use for websites for clients across the technology sector.

Several Veirano team members have senior positions at the International Trademark Association, International Bar Association and International Technology Law Association, among others. An office in Brasilia gives the firm ready access to the National Telecommunications Agency and the Ministry of Communications. Veirano’s client list includes the likes of Dell and Crocs, as well as the international law firm Norton Rose Fulbright, for whom the team drafted a guide on Brazilian data rules in August 2018.
