Turkcell’s business perspective of constantly challenging boundaries of new technologies such as machine learning, AI and blockchain is certainly a blessing and a strong challenge for any privacy lawyer.
The biggest challenge for the data privacy team is implementing a privacy strategy and compliance programme that is relevant and meaningful for the whole Turkcell ecosystem, and keeping pace with technological developments.
Sophisticated needs of the business narrows the use of external counsel on daily privacy issues, but certainly justifies why Turkcell accommodates one of the largest dedicated privacy legal teams in Turkey. The competent team of privacy lawyers is committed to ensuring a compliant and efficient roll-out of services with exemplary achievements.
Working in-house at Turkcell presents a unique opportunity to work closely with colleagues from various backgrounds, and to take part in end-to-end handling of privacy. Technology is embedded in every aspect of working life, making the legal team’s job easier and much fun.
