Finding ways to work on privacy and data security issues from multiple vantage points – from working at a public policy and consumer advocacy organisation to my roles on the legislature and the executive, as well as in the public sector – has given me a 360-degree perspective and has helped me to better advise my clients.

I have been fortunate to have often been in supportive environments where I did not feel held back or disadvantaged because I was a woman in this field.

The US approach to privacy law and policy is evolving quickly.
