Google fails to dismiss decade-old privacy class action

A San Jose federal court has denied Google’s motion to dismiss a class action lawsuit over its disclosure of users’ search terms, ruling that a potential privacy violation is sufficient for the plaintiffs to show that they have standing in the case.
