Rob is one of Global Data Review’s news reporters. Before joining GDR in 2019, Rob worked as a freelance reporter and policy analyst specialising in science, technology and health, with stints at Chatham House and a Rockefeller Foundation-funded project exploring how to encourage innovation in open source ecosystems. He has a bachelor’s degree in natural sciences and a master’s degree in the history and philosophy of science, both from Downing College, University of Cambridge. Rob is particularly interested in data ethics, medical and healthcare applications of data, and the emerging regulatory landscape for technologies like artificial intelligence.
