One of the biggest challenges at this stage of my career is to try to build a work environment that promotes gender equality and brings out the best in each co-worker. I am grateful that a lot has changed since the time I started working, but there is still a long way to go.
Brazil is a challenging scenario in data protection in general at the moment. We have recently enacted a law similar to the GDPR, but without the structure and privacy protection history of Europe. The next few months will definitely be interesting.
I believe unconscious bias still prevents a lot of women from reaching certain positions, but it seems the market is more aware and committed to changing this situation.
